Can God Make and Mold You!
2 Chronicles 16:9King James Version (KJV)
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…”
The Lord always is looking for someone He can use. The Lord wants to show Himself mightily in YOU!!!
Can He use your body for His Glory?
Sin does not have Power over You
Romans 6:9-14 (NLV)
9 We know that Christ was raised from the dead. He will never die again. Death has no more power over Him. 10 He died once but now lives. He died to break the power of sin, and the life He now lives is for God. 11 You must do the same thing! Think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But now you have new life because of Jesus Christ our Lord. You are living this new life for God.
12 So do not let sin have power over your body here on earth. You must not obey the body and let it do what it wants to do. 13 Do not give any part of your body for sinful use. Instead, give yourself to God as a living person who has been raised from the dead. Give every part of your body to God to do what is right. 14 Sin must not have power over you. You are not living by the Law. You have life because of God’s loving-favor.
Can God use YOU?
When you become of age or when you become mature in the Lord, you recognize what is important and that is getting more of God which means seeking God and becoming more like God. The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV), “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
In order for us to show the fruit of the spirit, we have to allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. When the Holy Spirit reveals something in us that is not of God, we must allow the Holy Spirit to work.
You will be able to do this by spending time with God; praying, meditating on the Word of God, studying the Word of God.
The Bible tell us in 2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Therefore, when the Word corrects you, don't get upset just acknowledge it and allow the Holy Spirit to work.
Don't be like the some of the people in Hebrews where the Apostle Paul could not talk to them about the mature things of God because they did not grow up or mature in the Lord.
Hebrews 5:12 (ERV)
12 You have had enough time that by now you should be teachers. But you need someone to teach you again the first lessons of God’s teaching. You still need the teaching that is like milk. You are not ready for solid food.
The Potter and the Clay
18 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will let you hear[a] my words.” 3 So I went down to the potter's house, and there he was working at his wheel. 4 And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do. 5 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
Noticed that the Word of the Lord was revealed to Jeremiah and Jeremiah obeyed and he willingly went to the potter's house. Do you willingly go to the potter's house? Do you willingly allow God to direct you? Do you willingly submit to the Word of God?
Can God make and mold you the way that He wants to?
If you allow God to make and mold you, the light within you will shine brightly and people will see your good works and they will glorify God because they see Jesus in you. Therefore, allow God to do a work in you so that you will grow up in Him and God will be able to use you to accomplish his work on this earth.
Matthew 5:13-67
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
When Moses became of age, he turned his back on the pleasures of the world because Moses knew that living for God will give him greater riches.
Hebrews 11:24-26 (KJV)
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Seek God and the things of God. When you seek God, God will show you things in your life that you need to let go
Let them go and grow up in Him.
God will use you to bring glory to Him
